this has become really random… no more strategy, now any dumb noob player can win…
magic phase sucks, charges suck, new random crapy magic items suck, measure before doing something sucks, …
yay, buy it, it’s warhammer for noobs, now you have a 50% of being victorious, no matter how shitty your army list is… meh

Warhammer fantasy battle now sucks balls. It was dumbed down for retards who cant grasp strategy. The game is far too random for its own good which removes too much strategy for dumb luck. In the old edition a random event may screw you up, but if you were a smart enough at strategy you could still pull off a win. Now since the game is almost all random crap then the game really isnt a game it is puting your models on the feild and crossing your fingers and hope you win. Fuck Mat Ward
Toilet reading? How about Toilet watching? I am watching this right now while sitting on my ceramic throne. I have a little tv dinner table in here with my laptop set up on it. But yes, most of my reading, homework, youtube surfing, and painting miniatures happens on my throne of happiness….

I actually got to try this new rulebook at Birmingham in England, I love the new rules, being as how I play with a risky goblin army, the horde rules really benefit my big blocks.
Plus magic is great too, now you roll 2 dice, at least I did I cant remember if that goes on the level of the wizards you have or not, and you get a number of casting dice equal to what you rolled on the 2d6, but your enemy gets the lowest dice roll of dispel dice.
Anyhow, great stuff.
lotr minis piss me off , back in ny we had a lil place that wasn’t allowed to stock warhammer minis because they didnt want those useless lotr ones because nobody wanted to play em luckily now that im in fl they stock pretty much everything
If they remove Empire detachments, I’m gonna snap! Throwing anything withing throwing distance, probably my LGS owner.
@spumniffler It very well might. I dont know and can’t find out because I live in Canada and even though I pre-ordered I don’t get a copy until next saturday.(dammit) I just think that there were a few minor issues that could have been cleared up that would have made the game a lot better without needing any massive changes. The change to magic sounds like it was good and the change to combat will be interesting(Woot to High Elves!) but there were some things that I thought should be left alone
@polaris30000 Take some time to read through the rules. Im not the most hard line GW lover, but this new book is fantastic and makes the game alot better.
@brooksjedi you can still use armies with past codexes, it is done all the time
Ah yes, Gamesworkshop grade Fuckitall(tm). When they are too lazy to fix the minor problems they screw with everything and leave the gamers wondering what the fuck just happened. Time to stock up on advil because we’re all going to need it.

@lennart82 a bit confused over the Griffon as the army only amounts to around 1000 points and you cant really get a Lord on Griffon on 250 pts (25%). But I can see why they want a big impressive mini in there. That’s all if the rumor is true. Along with that rumor is new plastic White Lions and Phoenix Guards (not in the box) as well.
