  1. Once again Sony fail to deliver. The idea of using the PS3 and PSP together was a great one and it truly separted the PS3 system from the XBOX360, but now they have gone back on their promises and delivered basically a freeview tuner (just what we all realy needed).

Wake up SONY and deliver what you promise and need.

I am now selling my PS3 as I prefer my xbox360 and now there is now reason to have both.

Its hard to believe that sony have brought this product out claiming that it has HD support when the freeview HD standards have yet to be decided. Oh well, lets hope they’ve chosen the right format!!

So instead of making this a USEFUL product, as was shown back in Leipzig in 2007, Sony have decided to cripple this into an overpriced freeview tuner (which can only even record 1 channel at once!)

Not being able to export video to other devices e.g. Video walkman, PSP, means it is simply vastly overpriced.

Do yourself a favour, buy a Topfield PVR or Humax with USB and enjoy the freedom that PlayTV sadly cannot deliver.

    Very poor Sony, very poor.

Bought it today and it has already gone back!

It would not find any channels, even though my TV can work perfectly using same arial!

No way of bypassing start-up menu if it can’t find channels!

Looks like I will be spending my money on another PVR system!
