@95PROJECTX You still need a camcorder, this feature does not like a PVR. Hope this answers your question.

  2. 95PROJECTX says:

can u record games be ur self with dis uploader or u still need a camcorder to upload videos to the ps3 to the internet??

  3. BigUndertaker says:

This is useless if you cant record any games to be honest…

  4. E4GTV says:

@weetzandjim No, only certain games allow this feature. You still need a capture card.

  5. weetzandjim says:

is there any way to record while you play a game? kind of like what the Xbox capture card does?

  6. TheMasterzabo says:

can you use trailers for an vid?

  7. E4GTV says:

@PersiaTeddy95 The only possible way to do that is if you made the DVD-R act like a flash drive. Meaning you didn’t convert the video file at all, you just dragged and dropped it to the DVD burner application and then clicked on burn. If that is the case, all you need to do is go over the DVD icon and press Triangle and then press on Show All and then the video should be there. If not, you need the PC then.

@E4GTV And how is that :P I used a DVD-R or maybe there’s a special DVD that it might work with. Or is there a way to copy the files when the DVD is in the PS3 ? What I’d like to do is not using a PC to get the video file, which right now I’m unable to do…

  9. E4GTV says:

@PersiaTeddy95 Ah, I see what you mean. Unless it is a DVD that can be explored/copied to the PlayStation 3, then you can not use it. To further explain this, If the DVD you created isn’t a DVD Video file (Like all the major DVD movies are now a days…) you will be able to use it. But you have to copy the file over to the PlayStation 3. Hope this helps!

  10. PersiaTeddy95 says:

@E4GTV No, it is not. I recorded gameplay with a DVD recorder. The gameplay is in the DVD.

  11. E4GTV says:

@johnny123able You can not record using this feature, you need a capture card.

  12. E4GTV says:

@PersiaTeddy95 All depends if the footage is copy right protected. If it is, then no.

  13. PersiaTeddy95 says:

is it somehow possible to add videos that are on a DVD, that was recorded ? I recorded stuff in a DVD and isn’t it possible to use this feature ?

  14. johnny123able says:

    how do i record

  15. DaveSimonH says:

This new feature would be really useful if you could change the output video bitrate to higher or lower than 2Mbps, and the resolution again higher or lower.

  16. E4GTV says:

@tdub731 Ah never mind I thought you could. Have you tried using different video footage that was put on after you updated the firmware?

  17. tdub731 says:

@E4GTV How do I delete the application and re-download it?

  18. E4GTV says:

@ccastillo2413 Yes you can, you have to put the video on a flash drive and then put it back on the PlayStation 3.

  19. ccastillo2413 says:

can you record with playstation eye and edit it with this?

  20. E4GTV says:

    @naggedd *E4G* and your welcome :)

  21. E4GTV says:

@OGxDocTa Yep, would be a nice future feature :D

  22. E4GTV says:

    @kazzdude1 No, you can not.

  23. kazzdude1 says:

can u record videos with just ps3?
