I don’t want to put you off buying a charging dock. Although it has flashing lights which are all different colours (great in theroy) but my ps3 is in my bedroom and its forever flashing and it keeps me awake. My advice just use your normal USB lead

Do you have to plug this product into the wall, or can it work just from the PS3 on a USB port?

okay buy this really for those ho have 2 ps3 controlers it gold and i also got a 220 V to usb adaptor so it charges even when the ps3 is of
