Picked this up last week to play with my five year old. He is quite enjoying it but is frustrated by lack of save points which means that he isnt progressing very quickly. The puzzles are of the ‘zap and click everything in a room until you figure it out’ type which is OK but is getting repetitive. Great characters and great cut-scene comedy as usual from this type of game.

i have found out how to fix the bug that a lot of people are complaining about.assemble the parts of dragon in the basement of the classroom.then jump on the dragon and it blows you upwards into the classroom.hopefully this helps everyone.its not a bug at all.just tricky too figure out.happy gaming.

Exellent Game. great gameplay. split screen is new, inventive and fun. Exellent that it can be to player all the way through!

This is the best lego title so far. The gameplay is good and the cartoony graphics are nice. The game lasts for about a days of solid play for just the story. The replay value is good. It is very relaxing strolling around hogwarts in the search for character tokens, gold blocks and students in peril. The game starts off farely slow with year 1 and 2 being rather prdinary, with the exception of a few levels being good. Year 3 and 4 are very well made. The boss battles are good and vary between each. Some parts of the game are very dubious and you can only pass them with luck rather than judgement, and if you do get stuck it can get very irritating. There are lots of websites providing walkhros so if you get truely stuck there is help. There are lots of codes for help. Such as ones that help you find character tokens and score x10, easily found online.
NOW ONTO THE BUG.

I have completed the game and not found. Just dont use the reducto spell in pr flitwicks room. Simple. No problem.

When I heard of lego harry Potter, I thought it sounded brill.
And its about lived up to the hype.
The graphics are class.
The free play is not great but still amusing.
The scenery is brill.
The philosophers stone is quite short, but still has you gripped.
No Quidditch. downside.
Overall-9/10 if you like harry potter, but it.
I’m nearly 14.
