Bear Grylls Ecuador 4/5
Posted by admin acc Comments (25)
Ecuador is home to the world’s longest mountain range and the world’s biggest and most impenetrable jungle, the Amazon. Last year, more than a million people came to experience this vast wilderness — and 55 got lost in the country’s mountains, jungles or waterways and needed to be rescued. In this episode, host Bear Grylls paraglides onto the edge of the Andes and follows rivers into the jungle — bringing him face to face with huge colonies of spear-nosed bats, giant weevil grubs (larvae) and vicious piranhas. Bear builds a bamboo bridge and a bow and arrow to successfully catch fish, but it doesn’t always go his way — he’s forced to ride the rapids of the Amazon on a single tree trunk.

i love how the camera man is going down the river backwards at the end lol
@ArchDrake bear has used different knives throughout the series like the gerber gator serrated but he since has had a custom knife made called the s4 from bailey knives they no longer make the bear signature models all that means is that the knife doesnt have his name but they make a knife exactly like his but his signature knife is like 300-700 dollars i reccomend getting a knife from esse knives the former rat cutlery they are great survival knives lifetime warranty great price i love them
Kamacho Plant i believe
what is the stinky plant, and the lokal people called, i can’t hear what hi’s saying .)
no mayonesse?? well just put some pirana on lol

This is not the real rainforest, it is logged forest, second growth.

god damn.. i would love to know that knife brand!
I love the way he says “sangre de drago” XD
yeh it dos, i wanna try piranha now
Well he sets up about half of each episode, but I get your point.
hes only set a handful of situations up throughout his career, every1 just pisses on about them, those situations the programme wanted to show how to survive thru, they had to set them up cos those few situatuions are too rare, but do occur
with a full tummy, lol
i feel sorry for the knife
his meal look real good for wilderness standard
I built a bow like his to kil rats in my garden and I just wanted to say that they really do work and whether he sets this shit up or not it is really helpfull, really insightfull stuff even when not stranded anywhere, I can’t imagine how much of a lifesaver it would be to have his book in a life or death survival situation.
omg thats unlucky, his bow snapped lol :
