@xomanddaox yeah. there are lots of great polishes that work for stamping. I sometimes use my special polishes and sometimes use regular ones depending on the design i’m doing or the colour scheme i’m working with.
I have such a borderline unhealthy obsession with houndstooth!
My friend got me this for my birthday and my first set came out pretty well, but now I am getting ideas for next time! :]
hey there i luve ur designs and i wanted to let u and ur viewers know that konad special polish is not nessasary they sell a brand named pure ice nail polish at walmart for 2.00dollars each and that polish works great with this stamping art. definatly beats 6 to 12 dollars for the special polish! i have never had any problem with picking up the image with this polish

the reason why its suggested to use the special konad nail polish is because its much thicker than most average nail polish, like its the kind of polish where if you were just painting your nails one solid color, you’d never need more than one coat. It makes it so the design is totally opaque/solid in one roll, so you cant see your base coat thru the design whatsoever. since you used a normal polish, on a few of your nails the houndstooth design is a liiiittle translucent.
