All things we are proud and secure in knowing could be just as paradoxial when taken to the edge of rational thinking. Pushing a debate into greater philosophical thinking is really CHEATING. If you lose a debate(christians) only to reach for the “what if, what we are talking about can’t be percieved” card, i am afraid that doesn’t count and you haven’t responded to the question.

Everyone does have their opinion, but whether an opinion is biased or not is derived from its influence (prejudice vs fairness. In this case, the video is biased because its based off of a skewed perspective of someone else’s statement).
Whoever told you that there isn’t such thing as an un-biased view “because everyone has opinions” is obvious biased him/herself.
@Nkj90 alright im atheist and i believe jesus was a real person (and just so u know jesus had to have been a man because during that day and time a woman could not have been that influential without being a heretic (most likely) and the fact the bible says jesus was a man. but ur right the bible was edited by a counsel called the counsel of nysire (might be spelled wrong) and that chose what documents that were floating out there would be included in the “holy” bible.

Except, of course, that religious people do actually do the exact same thing. They assume they’re right and refuse to accept any other possibility.
Now I have no idea what I am, but I believe that basically every modern religion is either wrong or heavily skewed in favor of mass control. However I still believe in a higher power, if only for reassurance.

Why are you running from God so much, if you don’t believe, why do you spend so much time trying to dis-prove God. Those who search for God with they whole heart will find. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you.

I’m a polytheist and I say gods exist to whomever who believes in them and there’s that.
No offense to anyone though, but religions should wait for when people are older and smarter before recruiting them in. Have a list, avoid previous rejections. It’s like a marriage… it’s all about choice people!

if i had never seen a tv, running water or electricity i would probably believe it was some kind of magic, like the voice of god. can you imagine living your whole life basically in the bronze age and some soldier of god comes marching in with his plasma screen claiming that “this is what really happened” how would you know any better? Being an advanced society we should not take advantage of others lack of scientific knowledge and there naïve wonderment.
