Be sure to watch part 1 and part 2 2 days before the video, I set my curls in a caruso steam hairsetter. I wanted to see how long these curls would last, so I didn’t wash my hair and recorded myself every day after that for 2 days. This is the last video! I washed my hair this night :) Part 1 Video tutorial on the curls here: www.youtube.com Part 2 www.youtube.com My blog irisonyoutube.blogspot.com

    Hi!
Beautiful Hair and lovely videos! You look fantastic. I have a quick question: is there any benefit to having the type of steam curlers like yours (using one by one on base) versus the Caruso curlers that steam in a trad roller set? I’m thinking of buying a set of steam roller since I have lots of fine hair, but not sure which type to buy. Any advice would be great!
    Stay lovely and beautiful Iris!

I loved it. I found out caruso via your video. I have trouble to hold curls. I want to try this type of roler. I have already bought, can’t wait for the weekends. I have questions: Before you used the rollers did you use any thermal setting for curls like the Biolage or something else. Did you use hair spray too. Because i want to avoid hair spray if I can. Thank you again for gorgeous videos. You are very pretty lady and very skilled based on your hair styles tutorials.

I have the Caruso hairsetter from YEARS ago (I bought it in the early 90s). I still use it and I truly have the world’s most impossible hair to curl. It’s very fine and limp forcing me to wash it every day. When I use it, I find that my curls stay for a couple of days and I have to wash it before the curls fall out. It’s awesome.

ok I have a few questions :-) . I bought one of these when they first cam out and didn’t have any luck. My hair is hard to curl and a little shorter than yours. How long did you leave the roller on the steam, were the rollers pretty secure, on 1-10 how would rate this product, and what kind of shampoo and contitioner do you use? You’re hair is absoltely beautiful. Thanks for the video.

I am officially a fan of that setter…

  18. boogiepimp78 says:

I think one of the best points about this is that since it uses steam it is not damaging and drying compared to hot rollers and curling irons. Also any time you can reduce using hairspray (which is drying) it’s a a good thing too!!!

  19. boogiepimp78 says:

I think one of the best points you can make about this hair setter is that since it uses steam, it is not damaging or drying to your hair like regular hot rollers or curling irons can be.

I had one of the original ones from the 90’s, but I’m actually thinking of picking up the new one one too. Thanks for your review!! ;)
