The watch is a bit bulky for the female wrist and can be a bit complicated to start with but once in regular use ticks all the boxes.

I love this. It also tunes into my treadmill as well automatically so you can see the heart rate on the treadmill.

Only bad point is I can’t work out how to turn off the constant beeping of the heart rate.

    Good value for money

I’m a cyclist and I was considering spending a small fortune on a high-end Polar or Garmin cycle computer just because all that data appealed to my inner geek. But when I thought about it, if you make a target HR zone around your threshold HR and record time spent in the zone, above and below it you have all the relevant information you need. Namely, time spent at, above and below your lactate threshold. This HR monitor does that and records other useful info such as calories burned, max. & avg. HR and it has a programmable interval trainer. It is also compatible with my Taxc Flow ergotrainer which means I can correlate HR, power output and cadence which brings complete satisfaction to my inner geek.
