i bought the Caruso hair styler! THE BEST CURLING SYSTEM!! I LOVE IT! NO HEAT DAMAGE FROM IRONS! Thank you sooo much for suggesting this!
The Caruso is the only thing that will keep my long, fine hair curly for hours and even until the next day. The best part about it is that my hair always feels so amazingly soft afterwords. Also, my unit is probably 15+ years old (it was handed down to me from my grandma) and it’s still working just as well as it ever did. Thanks for posting this! Hopefully everyone will become more aware of different products that won’t damage their hair!
i have naturally wavy hair & caruso is AMAZING – you take the curlers out AFTER the little bit of humidity from the steam is DRY… and the curls are beautiful & long lasting… My only issue is learning where/how to curl, I’m working on my technique.
Don’t let the Caruso steam unit DRY OUT either! it will ruin your unit!
will this work on naturally curly/wavy hair.. because any little humidity turns my hair into a poodle.. not cute!!
How many rollers does your system have? Do you use distilled or purified water in your unit?
Does it work on naturally curly hair too? I would think that the steam would frizz the hair.

You need to use an anti static brush or comb. Your hands also create static. Try flipping your hair upside down and gently rubbing your scalp. DO NOT RUN THEM THROUGH YOUR HAIR.

The Caruso has been around since the early 90’s, and it’s awesome. I had no idea they still made them, but I’m glad to see they do!

If you have any perm in your hair – even really old, half cut out/grown out perm – it most *definitely* holds the curl until you wash your hair.
It conditions the hair nicely, as well.
My hair is super long & thick, and doesn’t hold a curl well ( at all
/ ), but I do get a nice bend that lasts. ;o)

GeraldinePerez88-As long as you start with clean and DRY hair (not day old) and allow the curlers to dry in your hair, YES they will last. Also, if your hair tends to fall easily, try not to play with it or tug on it all day. Carry a small bottle of hair spray and spray your hair 1-2 more times that day. Also, scrunch your hair when in a cool room
IRIS I THINK I AM GOING TO BUY A SET.. my only concern is that currently i use hot rollers and some spray to finish up the look. by the end of the night my hair is stiff and straight with no volume or curls… AND MY HAIR IS FINE AND CURLY! Will the Caruso give that soft wavy look…like the Victoria Secret models and last me at least throughout the night? I LIVE IN MIAMI AND HUMIDITY plays a HUGE factor in how my hair behaves
