So there are no issues with heat levels or anything when using the uk to us converter? I am trying to order one of these and the customer service people from the site I’m ordering it from mentioned that it may not perform to its full capability if used in the usa.

I’m surprised that you were able to use the iron with just the adapter. UK and US work on different voltage, so in order not to burn out the wand/start a fire, you should have invested in a voltage converter/transformer along with the plug adaptor. I found on online for $9.
I ordered an adapter from hong kong that took forever to get here..I ended up buying one from a local radioshack for the SAME price…needless to say I’m going to sell the HK one on ebay lol
Thanks for this video! Stupid me bought the conical wand on ebay without realizing that it had the UK adapter & I thought I would just have to let it collect dust & never use it.
