It seems that everyone is shopping online these days and if you’ve not tried it, you might wonder what all the fuss is about. But follow the guidance in this book and you’ll see how easy it is. There is step by step guidance for the most nervous internet ‘newby’. Don’t worry if you’re concerned about safety and the security of your money. This book tells you what to look out for and how to put all the necessary safeguards in place. It covers conventional online shops, as well as auction sites such as eBay, how to find what you’re looking for, comparing prices, how to place and pay for an order, and what to do if something goes wrong. Best of all there are lots of pictures of screens so that you really are guided gently through the whole process. This book makes online shopping very straightforward. Note that although this book is aimed at ’silver surfers’, it is not at all patronising in tone and would suit anyone new to the wonders of online shopping, whatever their age.
