@jjuup various reasons being you use a module with no knobs, you want to recall presets when loading up your songs, you want to program automations sitting at your computer, etc.
@BenyaminTieh Good valid point there – I think that is a personal preference. I hardly use any editors myself, but many people swear by them for various reasons.
Isnt it better to use all the knobs on the keyboard rather thana mouse? I thought that was the point of a proper synth? Just asking…Thanks

The dashboard will just be sending MIDI data to your Roland JP-8000 synth… if you want audio back from the JP-8000 to your computer, you must connect audio cables to whatever audio interface you are using, yes.
is midi good enough or do you have to run the audio by the mixer?

How do you connect the synth to FL? Through midi cables to the soundcard and a midi channel in FL?

Go to the image line forum / log in to your IL account and download the newest IL downloader, they made some changes to it recently and I had the same problem.
Noo, i mean the JP-8000 dashboard for synthmaker…
I use a legal version of FL, but in some kinda strange way that IL Downloader doesn’t work….
Could you upload it, please?
The video describes how to download the JP-8000 dashboard, but obviously you can not download the hardware synth itself… if that is what you are asking.
Could someone post a download of this JP-8000?
I found Roland Jp 800 but I can,t used it.
